Knoxville, TN - Center of Dumpster Innovation

In 1937, in Knoxville, TN, George Dempster invented the Dempster-Dumpster.  As the first major innovation in waste handling for over 100 years, the Dempster-Dumpster system was the first large-scale waste container that could be mechanically emptied into a garbage truck.

Over 80 years later, solid waste history is again being made in Knoxville, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Tennessee Valley in East Tennessee.  We’ve combined over 30 years of experience in solid waste, with over 100 years of business experience, and the result is the most exciting NEW product in solid waste in almost a century….
